The Game Plan

  1. Put the chicken thighs, diced tomatoes (with their juice), black beans, chicken broth, onion, garlic, and frozen corn into the slow cooker.

  2. Add the cumin, chili powder, and smoked paprika.

  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours or HIGH for 3 hours.

  4. Pull the chicken thighs out onto a cutting board.

  5. Return the shredded chicken to the pot.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Ladle into deep bowls and pile on the toppings.
