The Game Plan

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook 3-4 minutes. Add garlic and Italian seasoning, cook 1 minute. Stir in marinara sauce. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish.

  4. Layer: frozen ravioli in a single layer, half the remaining meat sauce, dollops of ricotta, 1/2 cup mozzarella. Repeat layers. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.

  5. Cover tightly with foil and bake 35 minutes. Remove foil and bake 10 more minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.

  6. Let rest 10 minutes before serving. Top with fresh basil.

The Day 2 Evolution

Cut a square and pan-fry it in butter until crispy on both sides

Scoop into a bowl, add broth, and call it ravioli soup
