Steak Kabobs

The Game Plan

Whisk together olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and oregano in a large bowl.

Add steak cubes and toss to coat. Let marinate 15 minutes at room temperature (or up to 2 hours in the fridge).

Thread steak and vegetables onto metal skewers, alternating pieces. Leave a tiny gap between each piece so everything cooks evenly.

Preheat grill to high heat (or set oven to broil with a rack 6 inches from the element).

Grill kabobs 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare, turning a quarter turn at a time. For broiling, set on a sheet pan and broil 4 minutes per side.

Rest kabobs 5 minutes before serving.
